I am looking for some Georgians to help me with vocabulary. Thank you very much!
I am trying to better understand the biodiversity and plant life of your beautiful country.
1) What is the Georgian name for Cyclamen? It is very popular in the early Spring, and it can be found for sale in the city around International Women's Day in March. For Russian speakers, the name is Цикламе́н. People in Russia also call it Дря́ква or Альпи́йская фиа́лка. It is a common wild Georgian plant though. In America, people buy it in pots in the winter to put on their windows.

2) What is the Georgian name for Crocus? Crocus is another common Georgian wildflower. It is small, like Cyclamen, and it can be found for sale in the early Spring for International Women's Day. ზაფრანა is the name I find in online searches. I know that ზაფრანა is what many people in Georgia call marigold, the yellow summer flower that is used in food as a spice in Georgia.
