Adjective placement

Something I haven't quite figured out yet is adjective placement. Is there a general rule for this?

Adjectives used attributively generally go in front of the nouns they describe. The only real exception in Modern Georgian is that possessive adjectives can be (and usually are) suffixed to the polysyllabic kinship terms, e.g., მამაჩემი my father, but ჩემი ძმა my brother. There are more exceptions for Old Georgian and such, but in Modern Georgian they generally go in the front :)
