here we could help each other with geo-eng/eng-geo translations. (as long as you keep it short)

From all my studying of the script, I have come up with ტაილა for my name (Tyler, pronounced tai-la). Is it close? I had to copy/paste everything.

so the one very important thing about georgian is that it has very clear pronunciation and it is (almost) always read out/pronounced as it is written. And when translating your name, whose pronunciation and transcription differ so much (apparently), in Georgian you must make it sound clearer - ”ტაილერი” would be your name in georgian. whereas you could always ტაილა use as some kind of diminutive form of your name.

let me name just another examples of typical western names:

michael - მაიკლი
mike- მაიკი
kate- ქეითი (ქეთი)
Gregor- გრეგორი
ninka - ნინკა
alexander- ალექსანდრე
peter- პეტრე (პეტერი)
pete- პიტი.

so as you see, there is no approximate pronunciation in georgian, but very specific one. and it is also typical sometimes to georgianize the foreign names, as well as foreign loan words

I can say the same thing about the Russian language, the correct spelling of your name in Russian is Тайлер.

I wasn't going to comment about this either, but actually the Khmer is wrong (and I'll bet the others too...did you ask Formiko to do it for you?). The way it's written it would sound like "tail/tale".

And as a Hebrew student I can tell you your name would probably be written טיילר The way I like to find good transliterations for things is to type a name into Wikipedia, find someone famous with that name, and go to the page in other languages to see how they write it…like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liv_Tyler for you

I guess I'll comment on some of your name transliterations as well. You have what looks like both an Arabic/Persian transliteration (تایلا) as well as an Urdu one (تاےلا). They are both incorrect. In fact, when written correctly, it would be the same in Arabic, Persian, and Urdu: تایلر which sounds pretty close to the English "Tyler."

Lol, okay I took out the ones that I'm not sure of. >.< Formiko gave them to me...

You're missing the last letter ر in your signature - it needs to be تایلر not تایل .

I was wondering how to translate "გკოცნი ბევრს"
I'm new at this and I couldn't find a definition anywhere

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's "I kiss you a lot" (from კოცნა kiss in the present screeve with 2nd person direct object გ-, and ბევრი much, many in the dative).
