I propose to write þe for so called "stressed the" and æ as a separate letter (e.g. Ægæan[my favorite], æqual, dæmon etc.)!

I've been doing this in my own handwriting since I was in high school (though I go a step further and abbreviate "the" to just "þ").

Haha, this reminds me of old English. I would be so cool. Imagine that in calligraphy.

Don't forget about Ƿ (wynn) instead of W, could be great for an emphasised 'What?' if you misheard someone! "Ƿhat?".

Ƿ_Ƿ <--- also some great emoticon usage
