In formal situations, I'd recommend writing "I wish I believed it". "Would [verb]" is an option after "wish", but it's more common with action verbs, particularly those that can be put in the present progressive. "Believe" isn't one of those.

I don't dislike any of the four seasons and I think all of them have their pros and cons but summer is the best season for me.
