Sometimes I know, sometimes I don't.

The person after me tries to walk 10.000 steps a day or 70.000 steps a week.
Please correct my mistakes. I'd really appreciate it ❤

At least that's what many people say.

The person after me is online with their phone at the moment.
Please correct my mistakes. I'd really appreciate it ❤

I cannot use my phone online - that's what's making it uninteresting.

The person after me hosted a birthday party yesterday with 9 little girls and is frankly relieved it's over.

Thanks God no! I can't even imagine a party with two kids...

The person after me is tired of her colleagues being snowmen who can't handle regular temperatures.
Thanks for any correction :)

Temperatures are always like grape of warth - it looks like it's impossible to find the right temperature everybody agrees on

The person after me loves to go to Pilates sessions, but not only because the instructor's very gorgeous.

The person after me wants to be a small yellow worm in the big red apple.

Only correct if one is medical professional. (Doctors can "take" appointments; the rest of us "make" them.)

france-eesti wrote:I cannot use my phone online - that's what's making it uninteresting.

I don't understand the second sentence. What is making what uninteresting?

Lutrinae wrote:Thanks God no!

This is an idiomatic relic usage of the singular noun.

france-eesti wrote:Temperatures are always like grape of warth[.]

Um...what?

"Grapes of wrath" is reference to the Last Judgment, when Jesus Christ will return to punish the wicked. It comes from a Civil War song called "The Battle Hymn of the Republic":
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord:
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored

It makes no sense at all to me in this context.

I never knew about the take/make. Probably because in French the patient take them and the doctor give them.

Thank you :)

I dunno, actually I quite never saw myself as a small yellow worm.

The person after me is after redecorating their living-room.

'Tis a joy to me to see such Hibernisms catching on!

No, I haven't redecorated my front room (as we call it here) since shortly after moving in. I was just thinking how I'll need to get the place repainted before putting it on the market.

Your man after me does be thinking loads about moving house but divil the day that they ever follow through, sure!

I really wish I could answer the same way!

What does "to divil the day" means, to be afraid, that this day will never happen, or to put off? Or none of the above :D

I would like to stay where I am for now, it hasn't been that long yet.

The person after me doesn't regret watching Crash landing on you, it's only getting better and better with every episode.

"Divil" (corresponding to Standard English "devil" and Irish diabhail) is an emphatic negator in Irish English, e.g.:

"Divil the time I ever saw their backs no matter how we pounded them." = "I never saw their backs..."

So the intended meaning is "The day will never come that..."

The person after me exercised for at least an hour yesterday.

Yes, when I was a teen I liked to express my feelings writing poems and texts, but I never sent them, I kept them for myself.

The person after me doesn’t like very much to openly express their feelings.
