Hmmm I don't think "tragic" is the best translation. Maybe melancholic, sorrowful, etc.

Yeah, I thought about it again later and thought I should have probably said "sorrowful" instead. :P

The Arawán languages are a small family of languages named after their only extinct member, Arawá, and spoken mainly in the Brazilian Amazon near the border with Peru; two of these languages are also spoken on the other side of the border. One of these two is Culina a.k.a. Madija (both of which names are spelled in various ways). This is a song in Culina, apparently performed "at the San Bernardo church" in Peru to celebrate the translation of the New Testament into Culina:

Weird song, but I like it. First time I couldn't help but concentrate on how she's exaggerating those r's.

There is a language spoken in Colombia near the border with Venezuela, in a mountain chain called Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta that is separate from the Andes, that belongs to the Chibchan family and is variously known as some variant of the names "Arhuaco," "Bíntukua," or "Ikʉ." 90% of its speakers are monolingual, but this is a Christian song for kids in both Arhuaco and Spanish in that order. The lyrics are written out in the video (also in both languages):

It's starting to get cold here, so I'm finally actually going to take a break from all these South American songs and post a song in a language from Quebec! Specifically, it's in a variety of Cree called Atikamekw a.k.a. At(t)ikamek, Tête de Boule, Attimewk, and Atihkamekw spoken in southwestern Quebec. This is a song in Atikamekw called "Ni Mickan Sakihikanik" by Cécile Mattawa about a traditional activity of the Atikamekw:

Inuktitut is one of the main Inuit languages of Canada, which are a subgroup of the Eskimo languages in the Eskimo-Aleut language family. One variety of Inuktitut is Qikiqtaaluk nigiani, which is spoken in the southern part of Baffin Island in northeastern Canada. This is apparently the specific variety of Inuktitut used in this song, apparently from the famous Inuktitut movie Atanarjuat - The Fast Runner (funny, I don't remember this song in that movie):

I'm listening to Hearts of Space as I do every Sunday night. Right now they're playing Kit Watkins' "Waves Against the Grain."

Innu-aimun a.k.a. Innu and Montagnais is essentially a variety of Cree, or a member of the Cree-Montagnais-Naskapi dialect continuum. It's spoken in eastern Canada, specifically in Labrador and Quebec. This is a video of a girl singing two songs in Innu-aimun with an explanation in French:

Lnuismk a.k.a. Micmac is an Eastern Algonquian language spoken in northeastern Canada and across the border in the US (and one of the languages in my TAC). "Kepmite'tmnej" is the Honor Song of the Mi'kmaq people. This version is performed by the Sentanneway Kengnamogwom Native Choir from Conne River, Newfoundland, which I think is probably made up of non-native speakers (or perhaps even people who don't speak the language at all).

This is another song in Gumatj, a Yolngu language of the Northern Territory in Australia.

This is a song in (probably) English, but it's name is in another language, presumably Warlpiri or Light Warlpiri.
(from Wikipedia) Lajamanu is a small town of the Northern Territory in Australia. It is located around 557 kilometres from Katherine and approximately 890 kilometres from Darwin. At the 2006 census, Lajamanu had a population of 669, of which 92 percent are of Aboriginal origin.

South/Central Bolivian Quechua is a variety of Southern Quechua spoken in Bolivia and across the border in Argentina. It is the most widely spoken indigenous language in Bolivia (even over other varieties of Quechua spoken in Bolivia) with slightly more speakers than Aymara has there. This is a traditional folk song and prayer to the Andean goddess Pachamama in Quechua. It's from the Bolivian city of Potosí where South Bolivian Quechua is spoken, so presumably, it's in this variety of Quechua. The lyrics can be found in the video description:

Santiagueño Quichua/Quechua a.k.a. Santiago del Estero Quichua is another variety of Southern Quechua spoken in the province of Santiago del Estero in northern Argentina. This is a kind of dance song in Santiagueño Quichua called a chacarera. The name of the song is "Telesitapaj." I think that means something like "little Teresa's":
