Dinka is a Wastern Nilotic language, part of the Nilo-Saharan family proposal. It is the language with the largest number of native speakers in South Sudan and also one of the languages I've been trying to learn. There are many varieties of Dinka that are not mutually intelligible. One of them is Ruweng a.k.a. Northwestern Dinka, spoken near the border with Sudan near the confluence of the White Nile and the Bahr al Ghazal. This is a Ruweng wedding song from South Sudan recorded almost a year ago:

Another variety of Dinka is Southwestern Dinka. Within Southwestern Dinka, Wikipedia claims that the Rek variety in particular is considered the standard and prestige dialect of the entire Dinka language (or all Dinka languages). This is a song in the Rek variety of Dinka apparently called "Mabor Ayual":

Bongo is one of the two languages that the Bongo-Bagirmi group (within Central Sudanic) is named after. Within Bongo-Bagirmi, Bongo is in a group called either Bongo-Baka or simply Bongo; all the languages within this group are spoken in South Sudan. The Bongo language is spoken in the western part of the country, more or less between the areas where Belanda Viri and Southwestern Dinka are spoken. This is a short clip of dancing accompanied by singing in Bongo:

Nuer is another Western Nilotic language and Dinka's closest linguistic relative, though I keep reading that the Dinka and Nuer are enemies. This may be due to colonialism rather than an older conflict, though; apparently, the Dinka supported British colonial rule whereas the Nuer did not. This is a song in Nuer by Chuol Nyak. There are at least a few varieties of Nuer, but apparently, there is also at least a written standard. I'm not sure which variety this song is in:

Baka (also known as Tara Baka; perhaps this is an endonym?) is another Bongo-Baka language; of course, it's fairly closely related to Bongo. It straddles a part of the border between South Sudan and the DRC but is mainly spoken on the South Sudanese side. This is a song in Baka, though I think there's also at least one part in the middle spoken in Juba Arabic:

Kango is a term possibly referring to multiple Bantu language varieties spoken by fishermen in the northern (central) part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Kango varieties are classified as Boan languages, and within Boan, they are classified as Bati-Angba a.k.a. Bwa. This is a GRN recording that supposedly begins with a song in Kango. The song style is similar to that of the Banda:

Mangbetu a.k.a. Nemangbetu is a Central Sudanic language spoken in the northeastern part of the DRC. It is most closely related to a language called Asoa or Asua spoken nearby. These languages do not seem to be particularly closely related to the Bongo-Bagirmi languages. This is a clip that begins and ends with songs in Mangbetu but mainly features Mangbetu people talking about how white people made them stop eating other people and then started eating them (I'm listening to the first song):

Mayogo a.k.a. Mayugo, Majugu, Maigo, Maiko, Mayko, or Kiyogo is a Ngbaka language spoken near the Ituri Forest in the northeastern part of the DRC. It is closely related to Mündü (more closely related to that language than any of the others I've posted a song in so far). This is a traditional song in Mayogo, apparently called "Masi Asiibi":
