Darn, I keep managing to kill this game! All righty, I'll just post something in Western Aramaic from the Syrian village of Ma'aloula (I already posted this once in the "Music in minority languages" thread :P). It's a song called "Leil l youma" by George Barthoume:

Now I'll try asking for a song in an easier language this time!

Next language: Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR) Brazilian Portuguese

This is a song in a severely endangered Northeast Caucasian language spoken in Azerbaijan called Khinalug. It's the only song I know in Khinalug so far (I posted it once on the minority languages songs thread. You can find it there at the very bottom of the second page if you want):

And the next song should be in Catalan [flag=]ca[/flag]

Of course you'd say Urdu! So here's a ghazal in Urdu (with lots of Persian loanwords in it) by Mirza Ghalib, sung by famous Indian singer Muhammad Rafi. It's one of a number of ghazals I memorized as a teenager after a family friend sent me a CD of them:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcTe16KF19E
Usually, AFAIK, only part of a ghazal is ever sung in one piece. You can find the full (Romanized) text of the ghazal along with a translation into English and a vocabulary list here if you're interested, though. (This rendition starts at line 11).

There this saying here saying "é tanta coisa no menu que eu não sei o que comer" meaning there's zillions of songs I know so I can't choose only one of them.

So I'll post a song with this very saying:

Well, no one said it had to be from Germany, and this song only has like four words of Italian in it, so here's a Swiss folk song in Standard Swiss German! :D It's performed by the late Nella Marinetti, a.k.a. "Bella Nella," who's from the Italian part of Switzerland. Apparently, songs like this (combining e.g. Swiss Italian folk music with German lyrics) are actually pretty common in Switzerland:

I once posted the lyrics here.

It's probably the first song I ever heard in the Italian language as a child, and many years later the first Italian song I studied the lyrics of.

This lovely Pakistani folk song, apparently by a non-native speaker, that Saim recently wrote out the lyrics for before translating them on his personal thread in the South Asian forum :) (even though it's probably much more my kind of song than it is his :P)

Note that eskandar's post right after that has a Romanized version of the same lyrics, with some differences.

You knew I would love to post a song in Zaza!

I studied it a bit and I know quite a few songs in it. Here is one of my favourites:

Not really, I just figured since you were participating in this game, you'd be the only person besides me who I know wouldn't have too much of a hard time finding a song in Zaza. I'm trying to propose languages that don't scare people away because that keeps happening in this game! :P

This is a slightly fancier version of "Ey Reqîb," the national anthem of Kurdistan and the first song I ever heard in any variety of Kurdish apart from 0:28-0:45 of this Gorani song (courtesy of Encarta):
