Zakharii, in various languages, especially languages spoken in Russia and Ukraine. I think most of the videos on this channel may be in Ukrainian (uk) (haven't actually checked), but none of the ones I've posted from his channel are, of course :P

She made an introduction video about sign language (just talking about what it's supposed to be), and this is the first video where she actually started teaching some stuff. I don't want to learn it, but I'm interested enought to follow her upcoming videos. And for some reason I like that she put subtitles.

Miért írtam két nyelven? Hát azért.
Why did I write in two languages? Just because.

Does anyone know a good channel which has short, humoristic and diverse videos about languages? I mean, videos that contain different samples of language "x".

The closest thing I can think of is Wikitongues although I wouldn't say it's humorous, but nonetheless it's a very interesting channel.

Thanks for you reply! However, I'm aware of the Wikitongues channel. I just thought is there some video compilations where languages are used in various situations and by different persons (interviews, pranks, fails, everyday situations etc.). I guess no, because most likley it'd rely on content that would cause copyright issues, but I just tried my luck.

The channel has a lot of videos of different countries' and political entities' borders. Usually 3-4 minute long videos of how the borders of that country/kingdom/empire changed.

Nahuatl (nah) TEKUANIME'S KLAN (yes, the channel name is written in all caps. I think it's the name of a band in Mexico performing songs in Tlamacazapa/Guerrero Nahuatl).

And of course I have to add this one, given how many songs I've posted from it already!

[flag=]es-MX[/flag] Lingüinotas, a channel with videos in Mexican Spanish and various indigenous languages (at least ones spoken in Oaxaca), including songs in said languages

Some channels about languages, linguistics and conlanging (probably already known by most people on here but whatever).

Just for the record, none of these is the "Hi, I'm a super-mega-hyper-ultra polyglot and this is a video of me speaking 12538673920485768475892 languages" kind of channel.

md0 posted Langfocus a few posts earlier, but I'm not sure I'm familiar with any of those other ones. But anyway!

American English (en-US) Last Week Tonight

American English (en-US) The Daily Show

American English (en-US) Full Frontal

(There are a bunch of others, but I'm too sleepy to track them down).

I've seen a few of his videos. Is his accent really that thick? I think I've heard worse from Japanese professors and colleagues before, but then I haven't seen any of his videos in a while, so maybe I'm just remembering wrong.

Well, I guess it's a subjective thing to some extent. Personally, I mainly have an issue with his prosody which I find really weird and unnatural.

He definitely has an accent. I've just heard stronger ones before. :) I think all the Japanese people in this video have stronger accents when speaking (or attempting to speak) English, for example :P
