I sort of like one of the Estonian contestants. :)

In the meantime I'm trying to understand this one. :para:

But... it placed second in the national final.
The winner was this one, although it was a close call.

Grete Paia was also my "favorite" yesterday evening, though I liked Kõrsikud better, but I guess they wouldn't have done too well in the real Eurovision. All in all I have to say that in my opinion, this year's Eesti Laul wasn't the best, I was actually even disappointed by some of the live versions yesterday and I think there were lots of average, but not a single really good song.
But it was indeed great to see that all the songs sung in Estonian did way better than the ones in English. And I wish Birgit Õigemeel all the best, she has taken part in the Eesti Laul so often that I guess she really deserved finally being chosen to represent Estonia in the Eurovision.

[flag]us[/flag] Moja Slovenija, that's interesting, I didn't know John de Mol sold his program Ik hou van Holland to other countries, but it seems that a lot of countries have bought it.

The winner is so... generic :(

Not that it can't do well, seeing how Popular ended up third ( :? ), but I don't think it's a winner.

Why does he sing almost all of the song in falsetto when he has (or at least seems to have) a decent voice in the more normal registers?
Swedish (sv) native; English (en) good; Norwegian (no) read fluently, understand well, speak badly; Danish (dk) read fluently, understand badly, can't speak; Faroese (fo) read some, understand a bit, speak a few sentences; German (de) French (fr) Spanish (es) forgetting; heritage language.

I ... don't have a logical answer to that question :silly: But I think this is the biggest troll song so far (and the competition is huge this year)

As for the Swedish song, I don't think it's generic, far from it. :hmm: Anton Ewald's song is more comparable to Popular. And unlike Saade Robin's singing is quite good.

This is the first time somebody from the Second Chance wins the contest :o

Ja, Louise Hoffsten. <3

Jag kan inte förstå varför Sverige har röstat så mycket på Yohio. Men vi ska se vad Robin Stjernberg (vem jag tror är bättre än Yohio) ska göra i Malmö, jag är nyfiken. :)
