getting proxies in other countries

Does anyone know any safe, reliable way of getting a proxy with an IP address in UK and/or Republic of Ireland? I really miss being able to watch my favourite BBC and RTE shows

I'd be very interested in that as well. I've tried some of those free proxies but then everything was so sloooow that I couldn't watch any videos at all.
