Yeah, it does sound a bit similar to Finnish, but just the impression of the whole. Is it like that?

Loool Imre. Yes Levo, you (well I don't know you, but Hungarians) speak like that
To me, it's as far from Finnish as far can be

Yeah, though some words are missing.
I hope you all noticed that there are many characters in the text which we don't use in Hungarian, the writers of the lyrics only wanted to make it look similar to a Slavic text. (And they used a Romanian character...-_-)

Okay, it's not completely mocking a language, but still has to do with it:

Klassiker :silly:
Ce n'est pas une mauvaise chose de changer de langue. Parce que c'est à ce moment-là que la vraie interrogation littéraire et poétique surgit.

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but I came across some parts from Najib Amhali's shows today where he speaks in several "foreign languages", so I thought it would be nice to post the links to them.
Some language spoken in Afghanistan
Russian (starts after the first minute)
Chinese (from 2:13; this word he keeps repeating is "148" in Dutch with a very heave Chinese accent.) And another video about how the Chinese find names for their children: they throw a wok on the floor and the sound it makes will be their child's name. :)
Spanish (from 1:15)
And a little bit of Polish (from 0:30)

моя дорога невідома
я стану вільним, подорожнім

Well, I got some words in the first one, like "Igen" with Romanian e.
And in the second "Jajj, jajj, jajj, Istenem", but otherwise I couldn't really get which are the parts when they are just simply mocking the language.
All conversations seemed to be pure Romanian for me. :)
(Why are they saying "radical" all the time while talking about Markó Béla?)

So, you think so too we sound like in Mumio's introduction? :)
But it's not that bad, is it?

No,actually in the videos they speak Romanian with Hungarian accent; and use a few words like igen and so on.
About Marko Bela : well they called him radical because he said that childern in Romania have to learn Hungarian in schools just like Hungarians in Romania have to learn Romanian.
About Mumio: If I hadn't know the guy isn't Hungarian and if had listened to it mp3(no video)I would have believed that he really speaks Hungarian. So the guy is good. Nope it's not bad; Hungarian has its own distinctive pronunciation which doesn't sound like any other language;

:o :o

That was so surprisingly good I'm just amazed . Well, sometimes they "slip" and loose their grip of the imitation, but for the most part it's really good :o! If they have no actual Finnish skills, I'm impressed :yep:.

It's like listening to Sami or Estonian -- you expect to start understanding it any second . (And they do occasionally use real Finnish words in the clip, which makes it even more funny :P. "Mitä haluan tavata!? Kirjailija itsenäinen, ja Sirkulleko jalkapallo on kaksi kirjaa?!"  )

About mock Finnish then, how good is this one? I can only guess that Kerkeling doesn't actually speak Finnish:

No, that was so off the mark . That was more of a mock of a thick German accent -- the soft L and the difficulty with geminations and long vowels  ;). I wouldn't have quessed they were imitating Finnish. But the smallest guy in the fully red sweater might have been an actual Finnish speaker :hmm:. He didn't say much, but it sounded like sensible Finnish to me when he did.

There's this popular sketch show in the Netherlands, called Koefnoen they have a recurring sketch of a flashy US-styled news magazine which also has an international segment.

#1 (Dutchmen 'speaking' Swedish -- On the death of Ingmar Bergman)

#2 (mocking Belgian Dutch, exaggerating false stress)

They spoke it ok, with an accent of course but fully understandable.
Swedish (sv) native; English (en) good; Norwegian (no) read fluently, understand well, speak badly; Danish (dk) read fluently, understand badly, can't speak; Faroese (fo) read some, understand a bit, speak a few sentences; German (de) French (fr) Spanish (es) forgetting; heritage language.

This is Saturday Night Live's reoccurring sketch about Nöni and her partner Nöni. This is supposed to be how Americans view ALL Europeans. This is so funny, I had tears coming out of my eyes!
