Cogito ergo sum

Postby Levike » 2014-04-07, 15:37

How would you say "I think therefore I am" in your conlang.
If you give some explanations or a literal translation then it's a plus.

Intlom or imom proma jesto.

Literally: I think and I am for this.

My new conlang, Ilóhra

Šilu, šamérši linóluk.
[ˈʃilu | ʃaˈmerʃi liˈnoluk]
šili-u-ə | ša=m-érši linó=l-k
think-GNO-1S | and=3S-ABL being=COP-1S
I think, therefore I am.

To translate "I am", I ended up going with "I am a being" or "I am an entity".
