This is my personal thread to learn Syriac. I will be adding some vocabulary, and some correspondences with Arabic and Hebrew.

ܡܓܕܠܐ - מִגְדַּל - tower
ܥܘܡܩܐ - عَمُقَ- עומק - depth, valley
ܣܝܦܐ - سَيْف- סַיִף - sword
ܩܪܒܐ - קָרַב - قرب - near, battle, war
