Is it a living word at all? I tried to find its meaning by google image search and it gave me pictures about different things but telephones.

Hi there,

I am an archivist working on a collection of political posters from the late 1980s documenting the fall of communism in Eastern Europe/Soviet Union. We have a poster in what I think is Armenian script that I am having trouble translating. Could anyone give me a hand? Thank you! The question mark makes sense--the poster is questioning whether the dialogue between two very different things (the horn and the machinery) is real. I really appreciate your assistance.

I had a hard time with the alphabet. Here's what I wrote on the Most Difficult Language (for you) thread:

I couldn’t help remembering that a Thai acquaintance once said the very same about his learning the Latin alphabet in his childhood.

I learnt how to write Armenian several months ago. I actually found it pretty easy to learn it, perhaps because I've written like only in cursive since like second grade :lol:

I uploaded to Photobucket several months ago a sample of my Armenian handwriting using the UDHR in Armenian as a sample.

What is the best book for Eastren Armenian? I have finsished Eastren Armenian Pimsleur and it really got me no where except for saying some things in a conversation.
