Hello,

I am interested in learning kyrgyz language. Is there anyone here who can help me with it?
Where could I find material to learn it? (online?)

Many thanks!

from the kazakh thread:

And this page (which, alas, is in russian)

http://kyrgyz.lugovsa.net/

Kazakh and Kyrgyz are so close that they are mutually intelligible so it shouldn't be difficult to learn Kyrgyz once you've gotten a good grip on Kazakh.

scola.org also has kyrgyz newsclips with transcripts and other material, password is required but it shouldn't be hard to find one on the web.
