Useful resources

Postby vijayjohn » 2022-02-15, 18:07

We do have a bunch of threads where some of us have at least posted language-specific resources we find useful, but we don't have a generic thread for useful resources. I was just looking over at the "useful links" thread on French forum and thought maybe we could start something like that here, too. However, I thought we could make it for all South Asian languages rather than any particular language especially since there are resources that include information in multiple such languages.

I guess I'll start out with this as a small list. I didn't realize just how many great resources have already been listed in this forum until I started looking!

Thanks, this is a good list of resources!

Here's another site for South Asian languages: LanguagesHome. There are only a few phrases for each language and I'm sure the quality varies, but they do have some harder-to-find Indian languages with audio, like Bagri, Mundari, and several of the Naga languages (in addition to all the official languages of India).
