Aside from the national anthem of Sri Lanka, the only Sinhalese song I know at all is actually this one. It's called "Lanka Mawade Nedeyo." It used to be the theme song for Rupavahini, the national TV station. I guess it played every day before the morning news:

Just discovered another Sinhalese song called "Surangini." I thought it was a Tamil song, but in fact, the Tamil song I was thinking of was actually the Tamil version of this song. This song is a popular Sinhalese dance song; apparently, it's part of a genre of Sinhalese dance songs called "bayila." The video just shows the lyrics of the song in Sinhalese written out in Roman script:

This is another song I just found called "Samanola Siripa Piyuma Dowagena." Apparently, it used to be the theme song for the Sinhala version of ITN, in which case I guess that makes it another intro song for a news station. It ends with the same notes as "Lanka Mawade Nedeyo," though, so I guess it was also broadcast on Rupavahini:

I think these songs are Sinhala but I'm not sure actually.

Yep, I'm pretty sure they're both Sinhala. :)

I thought I'd try looking for Sinhala movie songs on YouTube (because why not :P), and the first thing I found was this song called "Samanal Haguman Atara" from a movie called Asai Man Piyabanna (2007):

I don't understand a word of this song (unless chumbana or something means 'kiss'), but I like the way it sounds. :) I think I probably like it more than most Indian movie songs from the same time period (or more recently)!

Nice.:-)
Happily surprised seeing the interest of non-Sinhalese.

This is a song by a Sinhalese singer named Sunil Edirisinghe called "Me Tharam Siyumaelidae" (මේ තරම් සියුමැලිද). The lyrics are included in Sinhalese script in the video description:

And this is a video clip in which his daughter, Sankhani, performs a song called "Wiyo Wu Pasuwai." At the end of this clip, she appears to be singing a short bit (or a condensed version of!) another song she's sung called "Athinatha Aran":
