This is just a bunch of non-film songs composed by Salil Chowdhury. There are Malayalam movie song equivalents for most of these; that's why I'm already familiar with them (or if there isn't one, then it's because it appears in Chhoti Si Baat). :P

"Jonmobhumi" is a patriotic song sung by Suchitra Mitra in 1951. (Some of the songs that Salilda composed were political):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCRhoNEMlQM

"Jonom Jonomer Sathi Amar" by Antara Chowdhury (recorded in 1990!):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMoZXVvIhrA

"Dhitang dhitang bole" by Hemanta Mukherjee (1954; this is actually the first song I ever posted anywhere on this forum, though using a link to a YouTube video with a picture that didn't come out so nice in the video ):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t33Eg-uAG5Y
Lyrics: http://ellementz.blogspot.com/2007/06/d ... e_465.html

A few songs by Sandhya Mukherjee:

"Ja Re, Ja, Ja, Phire Ja, Ja!" (1966)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vhJC0nOdJw

"Sajani Go Sajani" (1969; posted this one before, too :D)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ggl5gcAc6BM

"O Nil Nil Pakhi" (1973)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qko6Ii1fwPM

A few more by Salilda's wife, Sabita:

"Ja Re Ja Amar Ashar" (1965)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=706hFXjbFJQ

"Projapoti projapoti" (1972)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOm4l89Pm2I

And finally, from Lata Mangeshkar:

"O Tui Noyon Pakhi" (1963)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFoK4o0sXQo

"Kaeno kichhu kotha bolo na?" (same year; posted this once before as well and sometimes feel like listening to it when I'm missing a friend lol)

"Ontobihin (kate na ar jeno biraheri ei din :P)" (1972)

EDIT: I forgot this song by Sandhya Mukherjee:

"Gohono Ratir Ghonay" (1971)

There's also "Pagol hawa" by Jatileshwar Mukherjee (1962):

"Hay hay ki herilam" by Nirmalendu Choudhury (1967):

And "Aar Deri Nei Ami Ashchi" by Tarun Banerjee (1971):

Loving this song, even though I only understand the words I recognize from Hindi/Urdu (megh- cloud, desh- country, maya- illusion(?), etc).

This is a song called "Gonga Gongar Toronge," the title song of the movie Ganga (1960), directed by Rajen Tarafdar. It's another song composed by Salilda and sung by Nirmalendu Chowdhury, who also composed a few of the songs in that movie. Salilda composed a slightly more elaborate version of this song in Hindi in 1971, over ten years later, along with another even more elaborate version in Gujarati the same year:

Thank you so much for posting this song. I love it, and the lyrics are so gorgeous! :D I can understand most of the words, and I can use DDSA to look up the ones I don't recognize, so I'd like to attempt a translation. Some parts of the lyrics as written in that link are wrong, so I'll also try to transcribe them in IPA:

Once upon a time, there was a golden maiden (with) cloud-colored hair.
That maiden's village was in a region downstream.
Oh, what tenderness (there is) in her eyes!
The maiden's reflection dropped into the river.
I'm talking about her, (but)
I won't keep running around talking about her anymore. [Repeat last two lines]

The maiden had hair scattered like yellow oleander leaves; (there was) a Chinese hibiscus flower in her hair. (2)
That flower fell into the water; the maiden forgot it.
Don't forget, maiden! (2)
I won't talk about the maiden (only) to forget about her.

Once upon a time, there was a golden maiden, cloud-colored hair.
That maiden's village was in a region downstream.
Oh, what tenderness in her eyes!
The maiden's reflection dropped into the river.

Hands bare, neck bare, the maiden had a nose ring (literally 'nose-flower') on her nose. (2)
That ring ('flower') fell into the water; the maiden forgot it.
Don't forget, maiden! (2)
I won't talk about the maiden to forget about her.

Once upon a time, there was a golden maiden, cloud-colored hair.
That maiden's village was in a region downstream.
Oh, what tenderness in her eyes!
The maiden's reflection dropped into the river.
Don't forget, maiden! (2)
I won't talk about the maiden to forget about her.
Now, I'm talking about myself, (but)
I won't keep running around talking about myself anymore, [Repeat last two lines]
With even my green-colored boat wearing a milky flower at its tip,
(My) mind worrying about the very maiden I'm supposed to forget, [Repeat last two lines]
My mind worrying, (4)
My mind...

West Bengal isn't the only Indian state where Bengali has the status of an official language. It's an official language in Tripura, too! So here are a couple of songs from Tripura in Bengali. This one is a song where a man describes the woman he loves:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swmH5d6Ua8s
And here's another one called "Aga Nawa" (the video description says "Assamese songs," but it really sounds like it's in Bengali, not Assamese, and I found it through another video entitled "tripura songs" :P), so I think I can argue pretty safely that they're wrong:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikUNsCSX62I
EDIT: I just found these two Bengali songs with a little girl in Tripura named Anushka Baidya dancing to them. I just thought this one was way too cute for me to resist including it. :D It's a song called "Tiya Tiya Tiya," I think maybe from a Bengali movie called Hansraj from the 70s, but this is actually the only video of that song I can find (aside from another one with just a picture):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruwwLXY8PM4
And this is the other one, "Akash Amay Kachhe Dekhechhe":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1J-gjqRPGs

Reason: adding two more sounds :P

Two more songs from Tripura, one of which is a song from Mamon Edits "Amar Idoy Aekta Ayna," featuring Subrata and Pinky (who are listed as the "models," but I suppose they're also the singers, not merely the people shown in the clip):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImRj54kSBM4
And this is a folk song and dance from Tripura that appears to be in Bengali as well. I'm not sure what its name is, maybe something like "Hay Di Lokkhi":
