Two movie songs in Tulu: "Paddayi Gange" from the movie Kadala Mage (2006)

And another song called "Premanaathe" that TeneReef introduced me to on the "what song are you listening to?" thread in the Culture forum :P It's from a movie called Rang (2014):

These are two yakshagana songs in Tulu. I also posted some yakshagana songs in the Kannada thread. Yakshagana is a type of dance-drama performed in some regions in Karnataka; if I remember correctly, it is usually performed in either Kannada or Tulu. This is a song called "Tulu Naada Siridevi Thoolaya," which I guess is praising Tulu Nadu (where Tuluvas live):

And this is another one where an actor named Rajesh Nitte acts as a woman (queen?) named Rani Mallige (that sounds like it means something like 'Queen Jasmine'):

This time I'm including two songs from movies and two yakshagana songs. This is "Mattuda Ponnu," a song from Chandi Kori (2015):

And this is "Porlu Tulunadu" from the same movie (part of which is included at the end of the previous video, thereby leading me to find it :P):

This is a clip from a yakshagana performance called Myadappe Kallurti with a few songs in it:

This is from a performance of Bhagavati Mahatme by Umesh Kolambe, who performs in this clip as Guliga, a spirit who apparently many people in Tulu Nadu believe in. We have this spirit in Kerala, too (we call him Gulikan):

This is another clip from the Tulu yakshagana drama "Naga Thambila" by the same YouTube user who uploaded "Tulu Naada Siridevi Thoolaya" (I think from a different performance of this particular play):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fE8M3mQwr_A
And this is another clip from "Banatha bangar," the play that has Rani Mallige in it (and also the same user who uploaded the other clip I posted of Rani Mallige):

This is the title song from the movie Kadala Mage. It's called "Malpe":

And this is another song from Rang called "Bala Bala":

This is a video series for learning Tulu that I found kind of useful and fairly similar to video series for learning other (especially South Indian) languages:

This one goes faster but I think is also more useful in that it helps you learn things in Tulu much faster. I also kind of think it's a plus that most of the video, including the explanations, is in Tulu but with subtitles in English, and it includes exercises. Unfortunately, there have only been two videos in this series for the last couple of years:
