Hi, here we can discuss Tamil fonts (typography).

Latha is the default Windows font:

It's nice, large, and therefore, easy to read.

But, there are more beautiful fonts, like Maduram:
the foundry is giving it for free: http://www.kamban.com.au/fonts/maduram.ttf

Monotype fonts:

As for commercial fonts, there is Kohinoor Tamil:

I like this font, but I don't know its name (the one used on this map), its more than beautiful :doggy: :

A nice free font is available from a Norwegian site (there are 10 000 Sri Lanka Tamils living in Oslo, and 10 000 more in the rest of Norway):
