I've been tempted to study this language. After all I have interests in Tibetan and Hindi so Nepali seems to fit the profile (and no I'm not saying that Tibetan is linguistically similar to the other two, but culturally they are to some degree).

राम्रो लिंक! धन्यबाद !!!

good links! Thanks!

I love the face Nepali uses Devanagari. Because I can already read Devanagari. And I know what you mean about Tibetan, I have a friend from Nepal who speaks both Tibetan and Nepali. But her native language is Tibetan :P

Yeah, I really like Devanagari script myself. I don't really understand it yet, but once I start learning Hindi (and probably Nepali as well) in the future [not sure when I'll get around to them] I'll be able to read it.

Aren't both Nepali and Hindi written with the Devanagari script?

Lucky to have a Nepalese boyfriend :)

I just started learning devanagari for fun. It's a pity I'm too busy for now but I think one day I'll eventually end up studying it (and Hindi probably).

Yes, you're entirely right about that. I guess I'm just too busy studying Japanese for now. But I really think I'll study Nepali seriously one day in the next future.
