Here is a study group for Tagalog. I suggest going through seasite lessons, but if you have another idea, we can also choose something else.

Ooooh! Yes! I'm definitely up for going with the SEAsite lessons. Thank you so much for doing this!

I'm not going to join yet, but I'll be following this thread. I hope to eventually join.

What about our pace? And which lesson should we start from? I guess there is no point in starting from the very basics.

How far along are you in those lessons? Have you already gone through them (I only ask because I thought you said at one point that you did)? What I've been doing is mostly just going through the conversations very slowly and using them to build up my vocabulary (and listening skills, of course, since there are recordings of those conversations accompanying the transcript, too
).
The last one I did was Chapter 3.

I've done only the grammar part (but I haven't learned all the words from the lessons). For vocabulary I used mostly memrise and songs.
Since I haven't touched these lessons for several month, I'd like to revise them.
If you want, we can start from lesson 4.

I've created a study group for Indonesian also.

I think maybe we can start with lesson 3, actually...I've forgotten entirely what the dialogue in that lesson was about. We could maybe try doing lessons 3 and 4 by next week or something? Since I've already done the dialogue for lesson 3, I imagine that should go relatively quickly.

It's ok for me.

All right, so I guess it's settled then. We'll read the dialogues at least for both lessons by Monday, July 9.

I just listened to dialog 3 again and realized that I haven't actually learned all the words in it yet.
I then started lesson 4.
I guess "Tiburcio ang tawag mo sa akin" means 'you called me Tiburcio'?
Other new vocabulary from the dialogue and from the vocabulary list for lesson 3 and from various parts for lesson 4:
(to be) afraid =
takotto be alone =
mag-isaallegedly =
dawfault =
kasalananfirst, beforehand, for now =

Salajane, how've you been doing? Should we move on to Lesson 5 for next week (Monday, July 16)? Or would you prefer something else? What do you think?

I think we can move on. I'll try to catch up.

I just went through Lesson 5. I learned all of the following words:
while =
habangblanket =
kumotto learn (to) =
matuto(ng)to curl up underneath something =
mamaluktotcolor =

silidformer =
datingthey like to sleep there =
gusto nilang doon matulogI also encountered the Tagalog song "Leron Leron Sinta" in this lesson. These are some new words from it (most of the words in that song are new to me
). I'm not even going to bother putting anything in spoiler tags in this case since I have enough trouble reviewing the vocabulary I posted in the Tagalog thread, let alone any of the vocab I've posted in this one:
(my) love = sinta
young coconut = buko
young papaya = buko ng papaya
basket = buslo
to carry = dala
in which to place = sisidlan
at the end = sa dulo
broken = bali
branch = sanga

Oh, OK! Then I'll try to see whether I can do the next lesson by next week as usual.
(Same with Indonesian).

Can we revive this group? I'd like to start re-leaning Tagalog, and I'm good with going through seasite.
