Apart from Filipino Sign Language, Chavacano, and some immigrant languages (especially English), most of the languages spoken in the Philippines are Austronesian and are called Philippine languages. However, there is some controversy as to whether Philippine languages form a valid subgroup within Austronesian. There are eleven groups of languages within the Philippine languages that are spoken in the Philippines. There are also a few Sama-Bajaw languages spoken especially in the southwest. Sama-Bajaw languages are not classified as Philippine languages.

Phrasebooks for about 45 regional languages of the Philippines
(some of the more widespread languages like Filipino, Bisaya/Cebuano, Ilocano, and Hiligaynon don't have their own entries here but are also included in many of the phrasebooks, as indicated)
All of these are from SIL. Some are recent, some quite old.
