hello i bought this rock a few days ago im not sure what language this is i think its either greek or latin
i could use some help translating

Where as it's hard for me to tell for sure, it reminds me much more of a Semitic script of some sort. It doesn't look like Latin at all to me, and it doesn't strick me as Greek.

I'm seeing too many ayins. Or is that just me? :lol:

As for translating, I'm not that skilled. :P

It is definitively Semitic, I can identify ayins and samekhs, perhaps also gimel. However, it is surely not Hebrew/Aramaic script. I'd venture to say it is perhaps Phoenician/Punic, or something related to Canaanite scripts.

And without context and proper information, it is impossible to make a translation. Such short inscriptions (if truely ancient) could contain a series of abbreviations that only specialits of the field can "dechiper" with certainty.
