Sorry, but I don't know who is the Edo Nyland...at the same time I know, who is the HUGH HENCKEN ,for xample....

But that's exactly what a disguised Edo Nyland would say. :P

Hi, Oleksij !

Thanks !

A little correction... ( Egy kis javítás.)

JÁNOSNÉ : this means is: "John's wife" , but I'm JÁNOS = John ( from nJohn 1st "n" is my familian name/ Németh/.... )

"ez az Erdélyi címere" --- only: "ez Erdély címere" (This is the blazon of Transsylvany) or "ez az erdélyi címer" ( This is the transsylvanian blazon.) .

Do you mean the English word "coach" and the Hungarian word "kocsi"?

According to Etymonline, "coach" is indeed a loanword from "kocsi (szekér)" ((carriage) of Kocs). The German word "Kutsche" is derived from this as well.

But as it's a clear loanword, I don't quite see the point.

Hi, Vortarulo !

Of course, I know, and the Etymonline too....

But If you (and nobody !!) couldn't know, what is the origin of 'COACH'.
Can you to deduce from First Germanic Sound Shift (Grimm's law) and the Second Germanic Sound shift (Verner's law) when for example the hypothesys is dravidian or sanskrit "COACH" ???? ( "GUCCI" ??? , or KOCHI ( near Kannanur, India ??))

Pláne !
Ámbár a spanyol COCHE, COCHERA és a COCHINA, COCHINERIA, COCHINILLA, COCHINO között van különbség.
A COCH gyök a spanyolban problémás.

Let alone !
But between the Spanish COCHE , COCHERA and the COCHINA, COCHINERIA, COCHINILLA, COCHINO there is different.

So the COCHas like root (hungarian lit. KOTS , hungarian writing: KOCS) in Spanish is problem.

Old European / Vinča / Danube script

These symbols have been found on many of the artefacts excavated from sites in south-east Europe, in particular from Vinča near Belgrade, but also in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, eastern Hungary, Moldova, southern Ukraine and the former Yugoslavia. The artefacts date from between the 7th and 4th millennia BC and those decorated with these symbols are between 8,000 and 6,500 years old.
