Well, concidering I made it pretty far a few months ago, I'm hoping that it'll mostly be a refresher for me. As to what specifically I propose, I hadn't really thought of it aside from the obvious: working our way through the lessons at an agreed upon pace.

I am not joining, because lately I’ve developed an interest in Welsh and Scottish Gaelic, and I don’t know anymore where I am, exactly. So, I have think carefully about which one of them should I choose :hmm:

Ok, cool.

I was thinking of going through the first three lessons either today or tomorrow. What do you guys think would be a good place?

I'm happy to let you set the pace. Aside from a few chapters on more advanced grammar points that I'm less familiar with, this is largely just review for me, and since Irish isn't one of my TAC languages I have no pressing need to get through the book quickly.

I think I'll let Vijay weigh in too, but we'll probably end up with bi-weekly "assignments".

I have a bunch of other things to take care of first (including our Native American assignments, I think!), so yeah, biweekly is definitely a possibility.

So you're thinking of going through the first three lessons of TY 1961?

Or, maybe we can do it my section. I don't know. :P

What are your thoughts, Vijay? I don't want either of us to be overwhelmed.

Oh, sorry! I meant we could try going through the first three lessons of TY 1961 next week, say by Monday, November 5. Did you want to do the exercises together? Or for me to do them?

Did I completely misunderstand what you were thinking? :P

EDIT: Rinne mé déarmad go bhfuil againn an chaint as Gaeilge anseo. :?:

Ok, I'm game for going through the first three lessons this week. It'll be due Sunday November 4. I'll start adding assignments to the first post, for easy access.

As for doing the exercises together, do you mean like you and voron do in the Kurdish study group?

EDIT: I just updated the first post with our first assignment! :)

Actually, I meant each of us does them, and then we compare our answers (both with each other and with the answer key, kind of like the Biblical Hebrew study group). But it's up to you.

Oh! Well, if it helps, this is what I actually meant:

I forgot that we can talk in Irish here.

Go raibh maith agat! :)
