Well, actually, I just did it because I could, but it might also help me do my TAC languages also instead of just being stuck in the German forum forever. Also, I kind of suspected I'd be getting sick, and I am indeed running a bit of a (slowly progressing) fever now. It hasn't gotten too bad yet, though.

You forgot to translate the second part of sentence #5 is exercise #10: Táid istigh sa tigh.

Also, in sentence #5 in the next exercise, it says "in the yard," not in the garden.

Finally, we both missed/omitted the same word in #7: Tá na garsúin thall ansan sa pháirc.

So, me and Vijay are thinking of starting this group back up. And we intend to go back through Colloquial Irish, and provided we actually make it through it, I at least intend to follow it up with Learning Irish by Ó Siadhail.

Yes, I've put my Munster studies on hold for now, in favor of a more conversational approach to learning Irish. I intend to still learn the Munster dialect after at least getting my foot in the door with some Connacht.

Anyway, does anyone want to go through Colloquial Irish with us? kevin?

Please note that we're going for a very slow pace (one lesson either every week or every other week) and are thinking of making our first assignment a review of the chapters we've already gone through in this group.

I'll also note that we probably won't review all of the lessons at once. I'm not saying one lesson a week/bi-week, but not all 5 at once.

How about the first assignment being a review of the audio and corresponding text for the first two lessons?

EDIT: Also, if we're going that slowly, we should probably go even more slowly with the newer lessons since we haven't done the exercises for them yet.

Sure, that sounds good to me. As for weekly or bi-weekly, how about (officially starting our week tomorrow), let's check in later and see how much time we need. Say, Thursday or Friday?
