Tha, tha mi ga h-ionnsachadh aig an Oilthigh ach cha toil leam i, feumaidh mi gu mòr leabhraichean a leughadh is chan eil iad math :/

Tha an duine gu h-ìosal dà-chànanach. :)

Ceart gu leòr, tha mi dà-chànanach; bha m'athair ò’n Leòdhais agus bha mo mhathair ò‘n t-Suain, agus bhruidhinn iad Beurla, Gàidhlig agus Suainis rium nuair a bha mi nam phàisde.

Cha bhidh an duine a’ dol dhachaigh a-maireach, bidh e/i a’ dol dhan tìr eile a-maireach.

Chan eil, chan eil mi ag iarraidh a phòsadh. Chan eil àm no airgead agam.

I don't think a' chiad is ever used as an adverb of time to mean "first/firstly", only as an adjective modifying a noun to mean "the first one of several." I've only seen air toiseach used as an adverb of time like this.

sù = gàradh-bheathaichean :?: Chan eil mi air faicinn facal sin roimhe.

Uill, chan eil gaol agam air an sù. Ged a tha mi a' smaoineachadh gun nì sùthaichean obair cudromach cuideachail le glèidhteachas 's foghlam, 's fheàrr leam beathaichean fiadhaiche a bhith saor agus ann an t-àrainneachd nadarrach aca.

Òlaidh an duine gu h-ìosal leann no uisge-beatha an-diugh. :P

sù (sutha) = zoo

Co-dhiu; ‘s ge be mi a’ cumail bhon òl ... Uil, cha toil leam alcol, is cha caomh rium lionn, ach feumaid mi a’ dol dhan taigh-òsda ri‘m chàirdean a-nochd, is às a seo, òlaidh mi uisge-beatha agus, ‘s dòcha, coke (ach cha gheibhear mi na dha deoch còmhla ri chèile, blech).

Chunnaic an duine gu h-ìosal an dubharachd grèine air a’ Dhiciadain mu dheireadh.

Dh'fhuiricheadh an duine gu h-ìosal ann an tìr eile ma bha gu leòr airgead aige/aice?

Dh'fhuiricheadh. Rachainn air imrich gu dùthaich eile, ach chan eil airgead gu leòr agam.

Nan/nam is used with the conditional tense in theoretical or conjectural "if" constructions like this, instead of ma.

...gu leòr follows the noun or adjective it's modifying.

..and if you mean to ask a question, you do not lenite the conditional form of the verb.

Tha deagh chadal aig an duine gu h-ìosal a-raoir.

Chan ann. Dràibhidh mi fhìn daonnan. 'S e seo Texas. 'S lugha air na Republicans anns an riaghaltas-stàit de Texas a bhith a' caith airgead sam bith do rhudan coltach ri còmhdhalach-phoblaich.

Éist an duine gu h-ìosal ri ceòl Gàidhlig no ceòl Albannach eile an-dràsda.

Dh'èist mi ri Runrig is na Proclaimers nuair a bha mi air an rothar agam. Chaidh mi gu Kilsyth air. Bha an t-aimsir gu math snog ach bhris mo rothar as dèidh 7mìle (11.3km) :(

Tha e cèarr, chan eil mi ag itheadh rudeigin ‘s an tràth seo. Cha do dh’ith mi càil an-diugh ach mo bhracaist is pìosa aran air aon uair, ach bidh mi ag ithe spagghetti carbonara a-nochd.

Thèid an duine gu h-ìosal gu tìr eile air feadh an Nollaig.
