I'm new to the forum so if there are threads already for the question I have please direct me to it and I apologize in advance if this is not the correct protocol. I'm learning Quechua (Cotahuasi Canyon, Peru) and would appreciate some clarification on the following:

What is the correct Quechua for aunque, a pesar de que, con más que

From my understanding chaypas/chaypis and chaywanpas/chaywanpis means aunque (although).

But when would -spapas/spapis or -qti/pti + pas/pis be used and does it mean the same as chaypas/chaypis?

The following sentences are unclear to me in its differences:(pis=pas & j=q)
1. Rit'imunqapis wakasniyta orqoman qhatisaj.
2. Rit'imunqa chaypis wakasniyta orqoman qhatisaj.
3. Rit'imunspapis wakasniyta orqoman qhatisaj.
4. Rit'imujtinpis wakasniyta orqoman qhatisaj. Cuando utiliza -qti y cuando -spa? Cual es la diferencia? -spa se usa cuando el sujeto y objeto es la misma persona?

Cuando -pis/pas se agrega a un verbo que significado tiene? Por ejemplo Niranpas? Eso quiere decir "por más que él dijo"? Su ayuda por favor. Esteban

El quechua del cañón de Cotahuasi será el quechua ayacuchano. Según esto, chaypis significa 'dicen que fue ahí'.

Sí, y -qti/-pti se usa cuando el sujeto es diferente y hay una relación de causa y efecto. Véase aquí.

Que yo sepa, significa 'también'.
As far as I know, it means 'also, too'.

I now this is an old post, but this could be useful for somebody.

First, it should be clarified that in Quechua there are very few grammatical connectors in the style of English or Spanish, but there are suffixes that fulfill these functions.

Chaypas has several uses, when it is at the end of a sentence it is very likely to mean "though." (aunque)

Chaywanpas is similar, in a positive sentence it usually means: "even with that" (aun con eso), and in a negative sentence "despite" (a pesar de)

Cuando -pas/-pis se agrega a un verbo usualmente significa "tambien", o en una oración negativa "tampoco".

-spa tiene una funcion similar a la teminación -ing

-qti puede significar "cuando" (hamuqtin=when he come) y tambien se puede usar en oraciones condicionales (if)
