I realize it's an old thread, but perhaps it can turn into a resource thread for (Ayacucho) Quechua or something.
Anyway, there's a nice course with audio here:
http://facultad.pucp.edu.pe/ciencias-so ... a/home.htmI believe it's a course on the Quechua de Ayacucho. I'm more interested in Ayacuchan Quechua, so that's what i've looked for mostly.
Also check out:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/92707828/Gram ... ca-QUECHUAI think there's another place where the next course is online, but if not:
https://web.archive.org/web/20120614193 ... home_i.htmThat site has been uploaded as a PDF to scribd, too:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/33624047/El-Curso-QuechuaIn English, there's the Spoken Ayacucho Quechua, which is a bit dull. It's an FSI-style course but leaves a lot of things without explaining. There are two volumes. I also came across a Spanish version that was essentially the same, though it seemed slightly revised (some dialogs used different words, etc.). I don't remember where i got it from, though it might be
this.
Two books that i haven't been able to find but seem interesting are:
Quechua: manual de enseñanza
Gramática Quechua Ayacucho-Chanca
...both by Clodoaldo Soto Ruiz. I believe they teach (or taught, at least) Quechua at a university in the US, as there's an
online course offered that lists them as a contact.
I do remember coming across a couple really nice courses for Bolivian Quechua, though i can't recall their names off the top of my head.
EDIT: I found an old note i'd written with some links to resources. Unfortunately some of them have been taken offline since:
https://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wp ... _shimikuna (lots of links to material for learning Quechua, though i'm not sure which varieties they cover.)
http://www.lengamer.org/admin/language_ ... UECHUA.pdf (this is a grammar for the Quechua of Cuzco)
There were also some computer programs for learning Quechua, but i can't remember what they were. One may just have been a version of the yachay course, but it's been a while. Perhaps
this was one of them? It was also for the Cuzqueño variety.
Also, some words every Quechua learner needs to know:
