Greenlandic - are there long consonants?

Postby Woods » 2018-10-08, 18:17

Does Greenlandic or the bunch of languages spoken out there distinguish between short and long consonants?

By the way, is this the right forum to ask about this Eskimo-Aleut languages?

I'm not sure about Greenlandic, but I do believe that the Eskimo languages in general do have gradation of consonants.
I'll see if I can confirm or retract that.

And yes, this is the right place to ask about Eskimo-Aleut languages.
