A little yes. Don't want anyone having the wrong idea here; I'm not exactly in practice anymore. Need to go through my textbook again. But that'll be after some Oneida. Just not sure if I want to do Oneida now, or something else.

Where'd you find that word? Just curious as they don't use the dot underneath anymore, so I was wondering that the denotes (guessing either a nasal vowel, or the 'v'). :P

And we're a bit out of order, but no harm no foul.

From here. You can use the following URL

    http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Category:XXX_nouns
replacing the XXX with any language of your choosing. It will give you a list of nouns in that language that have so far been added to Wiktionary. And of course instead of nouns you can also have verbs, adjectives, adverbs, etc by tweaking the URL appropriately. (It's just that I find nouns easiest to work with.) :)

Ok, I get it now. That's right, there are a few different orthographies for Choctaw (that one being Byington/Swanton). I'm used to seeing the "modern" orthography.

Anyway,

[flag]ood[/flag] jeweḍ

These languages keep surprising me. :)

[flag]chr[/flag] ᎧᏁᏍᏓ kanesda

This word actually does remind me on "gnezdo" which is Slovenian for nest. Perhaps Iroquoian and Indo-European languages are somehow related. just kidding

Something is bugging me about this word. Arapaho words never begin with a vowel. At least none I've ever seen. :hmm:

The dictionary I tend to use lists nees as 'my husband'

No, í is a vowel (all the accent marks is the tone). That’s kind of weird. Where’d you find it? And it’s up to you if you want to change it or not.
