I found a good resource for an almost extinct Iroquoian language... I might learn it along with Cayuga.

http://www.mingolanguage.org/

It seems very very close to Cayuga. Different orthography and I hate it but it can always be fixed  . Nasal Hooks and Colons can fix it.

I've actually thought of learning Mingo before. Though that website hasn't been updated in forever it still has some great stuff on it.

In other news, I just bought the Cayuga Teaching Grammar off Amazon. I'm a little disappointed there is no audio available for it (maybe just for students?). Oh well, still getting it.

I'm happy to report that I just got the Cayuga Teaching Grammar and I think it will make a wonderful supplement to Wadewayénstanih.

In other news, I've just emailed both the Oneida and Seneca tribes to inquire about resources, so we'll see how that goes. Fingers crossed! :D

Time for a long over due update on my emails!

I've heard back from the Seneca tribe, and unfortunately the person I spoke with said that they do not really have any textbooks or the like (can't say I'm surprised), so no luck there unfortunately. :(

I haven't heard back from the Oneida tribe, so I'll try again.

I just so happen to be searching around online the other day, and I found this cool (presumably new) website from the Seneca Tribe on their language:
http://senecalanguage.com/
It looks really promising! They even have a reference grammar and English to Seneca dictionary uploaded.
They also have a language word/phrasebook. I'm hoping an actual textbook is eventually uploaded/created.

Oh wow, I'd never heard of this language before! I wouldn't have heard of its existence if you hadn't mentioned it.

Yeah, it's a secret among the Iroquoian languages. Not many people know about it. I've known about it precisely because of both that site, and my interest in Iroquoian languages. :P

I didn't know until now that languages could keep their relatives a closely-guarded secret until now, either.

Looks like the Cherokee lessons that the guy from cherokeelessons.com created are still freely available online, and he/they even have redone the lessons. At least as far as I remember from when he was just starting to devise them.

http://www.cherokeelessons.com/#!About (main page, I'm sure it's been posted before)
https://jalagigawoni.gnomio.com/ (the online course, which you can access as a guest ATM)

Does anyone have the Cayuga Spelling Manual in pdf format or the sound files in zip format?
The pdf with embedded sound would be amazing.

I did ask COOL, but due to the attack on their site, there is no guarantee they still have any of it.

I also emailed the Woodland Cutural Center, we'll see what they say, as they are attached to the COOL project.

In other news, I'm Keen to see if there are any Onondaga language resources, like a textbook, classes through video conferencing, grammar, etc. I emailed the Onondaga Language project at onondaga.com
We'll see what they say.
I have a feeling it is a similar situation as Seneca though (just starting out, very little available beyond classes, etc).

So, in reference to the Cayuga Spelling Manual, I was finally able to get a copy!

I found it here: http://www.ucs.mun.ca/~cdyck/LIN6050_W2 ... index.html
Which also has a nifty grammar similar to the one offered by the Education department of Ontario.

Still waiting for the main Cayugalanguage.ca site to be restored.

As for Onondaga, I meant to post this years ago, but they are working on various resources for the language, it's just a matter of waiting and hoping things don't fall through.

Yay! The cayugalanguage.ca site is back up!

They still have a few kinks to work out, but it's awesome to see the site back up! :D

I've just found this series of audio lessons (mostly with pdfs) for some Iroquoian languages (Mohawk, Cayuga and Onondaga) and Ojibwe:
