But you already have resources for all of those languages! And so do I. ;)

I do for Tlingit, but not any of the others. Unless I'm missing something here... :hmm:

Those are just grammars and dictionaries. You know I have this weird fetish for those things known as "textbooks".

"Księżycowy! I discovered a whole planet made of platinum, and I just heard back from Bill Gates. He says he's willing to pay his whole fortune just for this planet! I'll give you 99% of the reward."
"Wtf? What good is platinum? :? I want gold."

Shame on you for mentioning Bill Gates while you're an Apple employee!

That distinction only applies when it comes to pay and benefits. Loyalty-wise, there's no diference!

This is true.

All right, maybe that was a bad comparison I made.

I think I'm getting ready to start another TAC round soonish. I've been feeling better about reviewing vocabulary lately, after all (as I've said before). However, I think I also need to spend some more time actually doing that!

At the same time, listening to songs in other South Asian languages besides Malayalam (and even Tamil) is helping me to get back into the mood for starting with Malayalam again. :P (I always start TAC rounds with Malayalam).

Actually you can mention Bill Gates even if you work for Apple. If you're criticizing him or telling a joke to mock him.

Wait, so did you pause your TAC? Why do you start your TAC rounds with Mayalayam?

I'm beginning to think I bit off more than I can chew, Vijay. Get ready to do the Heimlich.

How so?
OldBoring wrote:Wait, so did you pause your TAC?

No. I finished my last TAC round months ago, but it always takes me some time to start a new round, either because it's hard to review vocabulary or (more likely) because I'm distracted by something else.

*Malayalam :)

I don't really know, maybe because that's the one language that I consider most important to my personal identity, at least in an English-speaking context where almost no one else speaks it. :P In any case, I've basically been following the same order for my TAC rounds, and I guess I'd like to keep it that way. Otherwise, it's hard to decide how I want to order everything, and I may have regrets about changing it at this point.

If the Dutch can change bakeljau to kabeljau, I have the right to say Mayalayam!

Because I've created 5(?) study groups for languages (not counting the one you created for Seneca), and I wanted to focus on German and Japanese this summer!
