In the meantime, as you know I'll rope you up into things yet again, let's decide on a NAIL to do for the Powwow.

I'm sure you saw my list in the general thread, but I've made a few changes anyway:
Aleut
Cayuga/Seneca
Cherokee
Inupiaq
Lakota
Mohawk
Salish [Which ever :P ]
Tlingit
Yup'ik

Which interests you the most?

Wait, what list? :hmm:
Which interests you the most?

All of them?

Aleut is especially tempting if you're (also?) okay with me doing Mednyj Aleut at the same time! :D

The list I said I was deciding from in one of the threads around here. I wanna say it was in the General thread in the NAIL forum, but I could be wrong.

And I could get down with some Aleut. I'll most likely learn Probilof Aleut, if that makes any difference to you.

Though as I say that, I notice Cayuga and Seneca both pouting in the corner. :P

At least the list has been narrowed (for now).

Mednyj Aleut mainly uses input from Attuan, but we can do Pribilof Island Aleut, too! You know me. I'm not exactly a minimalist when it comes to language-learning. ;)

Or we could do Seneca. Or we could do both Seneca and Aleut! (Then you get Cayuga almost for free anyway!).

You can nail the NAILs.

If I were to do Seneca, it would be as an extension of doing Cayuga.

As I'm not planning on rejoining the Seneca Class yet, my plan is to learn Cayuga though the resources I have and use it to learn bits of Seneca along the way. Since, you know, Seneca doesn't have a textbook.

But I haven't quite decided if I want to do that yet. I'm definitely on board for Aleut either way though.

You know Vijay, every time you list out the words you're trying to learn and French is one there, I'm always tempted to go one-by-one through your French words to see what I already know (i.e., compare  ) and more so to steal the ones that I don't know. But then I decide not to once I see how long your freaking list is!

It's okay, it's probably not particularly useful vocabulary unless you're a businessman selling furniture about thirty years ago in France and occasionally talking about farms and the Middle Ages for some weird reason. :P

Księżycowy, I suggested just doing Aleut together because I don't think I'm as far along with the Seneca materials as you are, and I'm slightly worried about potentially confusing Cayuga with it.

All right, then Cayuga!
