So, I just recently (as in yesterday) got a copy of the
Kodansha Kanji Learner's Course, so I'm going to try to work that into my Japanese studies. I still intend (at the moment at least, we'll see how it goes) to use the MnN kanji supplements to learn the kanji used in that book, but as Karavinka rightfully points out it's never too early to start learning kanji. My goal is perhaps a steep one, but I like to be literate in the jouyou kanji by the end of next year.
I'll have to figure out the pace and such, but I'll start adding in the kanji from the Kodansha book as I go through MnN. I'll also add in the example kanji words they give in the book, and perhaps even sentences that use them (which I'll have to find from elsewhere).
