Yes, I would say that this is pretty much MSA. The interview is very understandable and maybe they use one or two words of the dialect, in the whole interview. But I think it doesn’t present many difficulties, so yes, this should be very near real MSA.
I liked this interview, it was interesting.

I can’t really identify dialects, apart from Egyptian. So I don’t really know exactly if I should put another flag besides the MSA one. But for me, the video was quite understandable.

Who can never be used for inanimate objects. I think there are some situations where which can be used for animate nouns, although I can't think of any examples off the top of my head. But all inanimate objects take which.

PS. I also feel that "posting here the video", while probably technically grammatical, sounds non-native. Perhaps it works in other English dialects, but in my experience the object always goes before the adverbs here/there: put it there, bring that book here, etc.

As far as I'm aware, in the Standard versions of the major English dialects (i.e., British, American, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand), double negatives are considered ungrammatical and acceptable only in colloquial situations. However, I know there are some non-Standard English dialects that use double negatives like in Spanish - as reinforcement or emphasis of the negation. There are also some who speak a dialect that doesn't accept double negatives who would interpret some double negative statements as positive; in effect, the double negative cancels itself out. An example of this would be a statement like "I don't think it isn't the case", which for some speakers would mean "I think it is the case".

Are you still doing Icelandic and Swedish? How far have you gotten along in the books we've been using so far, if you don't mind me asking?

Yes, I haven’t give up. For Swedish, I finished Assimil. So I am supposed to know the basic grammar stuff. Now I should expand my vocabulary. The real problem is listening, because I should be listening to plenty of podcasts or videos, and instead of that I am continuously listening to Arabic material, as you can see

For Icelandic, I got to chapter 5 of the book, and then stopped there. I also started a Memrise course in order to learn more vocabulary. I want to continue, but Semitic languages (like Hebrew, for example), keep getting in the way, and I feel more attracted to them than to Germanic ones
