Work has been crazy recently. I just don't have time for anything else; and I had such a good momentum with Arabic! And this craze at work will last well into July.

The bright side, I am enjoying active rest on the weekends and travelling to various places in Turkey.

Yeah I have this book in PDF, I just don't like doing it from the computer screen.

Still the same craze at work.

I read 40 more pages of my Arabic reader. Also, changed my goals for Arabic a bit. Now that I am in Antalya where there are no Syrians so I don't get to hear Syrian Arabic daily, I lost motivation for learning it; but I gained more motivation for MSA instead. I will try and go through all the Arabic readers I bought.

Nothing much about my other languages.

Yeah, I don't have as much motivation for learning Syrian Arabic as I did back when I had people to practice it with, either. I think I still have more for Syrian than I do for MSA but have been slowly developing more motivation for MSA as well.

I'd love to do something for MSA, I'm trying to work on it more these days and have put colloquial Arabic on hold for awhile. I'm OK with using another source (though I'll still keep working my way through Kalila wa Dimna on my own). Any suggestions? I really like using guided readers, so maybe there's another one that would be more interesting? There are several available on LibGen that you could print out.

So the heat at work has been down a bit, and I can spend more time on studying.

I want to read my Arabic readers at least 3 times a week, and each time I'm going to post a photo of one page from what I read.

My readers are:
Four levels of the series "Hikayelerle Arapça öğreniyorum" (Learning Arabic with stories)
قصص النبيين للأطفال (Stories of the Prophets for children) -- this one is available on archive.org

All of them are bilingual in Turkish and Arabic.

I really like using guided readers, so maybe there's another one that would be more interesting? There are several available on LibGen that you could print out.

Can you point me to any of them? I'm too lazy to search.

Let's see. The ones that I'm already familiar with:
Jane Wightwick, Mahmoud Gaafar, "Easy Arabic Reader" -- kind of nice, but I already did more than a half of it, and I don't want to do it again.
Abdur Rahim, "Madinah Arabic Reader Book" - this one is too simple (and I did it too when I was studying from the Madinah Arabic book)

The others look both interesting and challenging. I will get to them at some point. I am especially intrigued by "The Travels of Ibn Battuta".

Do you know any readers with the religious content? I'm absolutely delighted by قصص النبيين للأطفال and I devoured 150 pages of it in just a few sits.
