That would give kevin both FUBAR and the BTG to work on at the beginning of next year. Are you okay with that, kevin?

Given the standard for keeping the deadlines that has been set in both games, I think I won't make it much worse at least. ;)

In all seriousness, I have actually started translating your Polish Vijay. I plan to work on it some more tomorrow. Right now I'm trying to translate it into MnE, then I'll do my best to make Ælfric proud.

I fully intend to have my portion of the chain done by week's end. But you're free to wait until after New Year's if you want, kevin. :)

Are you still planning to send the translation by tomorrow?

Shit, I'm a little behind. I'll send it in a few days. Sorry.

And thanks for reminding me!

So what exactly will "a few days" be? I'm afraid waiting until after New Year's won't be my choice any more.

This round is really disappointing, both the regular BTG and the FUBAR one actually.

Yeah, it is unfortunately. Perhaps next year, we should try and start in like August or September. Hopefully people won't be so busy.

I still have another week that I'm not really busy with anything, but somehow I feel I'll get both texts right when I need to be back at work.

I have the FUBAR text translated into MnE. Now it's just a matter of translating it into OE. That should go rather quickly, comparatively. I should be able to get the text to you by either tomorrow or the day after.

It's odd because it doesn't seem to have been a problem at any time in the past, has it? :hmm: Almost everyone who participated in both games participated in the BTG around the same time last year, and we were done in just over a month. It seems as if this time, some people who are in both games ended up being busier than they expected.

Maybe part of the problem is that we started both games at the same time. Of course, another part of the problem was definitely over-enthusiasm. Everybody being super-excited about it is a good sign that we shouldn't do it IMO.

Good points, but why do you think that everybody being super-excited about it is a good sign we shouldn't do it?

Because when we get super-excited, it suggests that we're looking only at the positive aspects of starting these games and either ignoring or not really thinking about the negative ones or the potential complications.

And the first half wasn't even that hard to understand. But now that I'm getting confused who is doing what, the subject pronoun doesn't even seem to match the verb any more, and the text seems to even contain typos ("ls" is unlikely to be a valid beginning of a word). Let's see what I can make of it. :)
