What are FUBAR rules? Or rather, how are they different from BTG, apart from there's more flexibility with the language pairs? I don't mind moderating it if you guys want to start it this month. Also, Irusia, you know (some) Tagalog?! That's so cool!! :D

I just compared them, and they're not.

Like I said before someone tried to correct me :hmpf: (I know, I've done the same to him multiple times by now, but that's not the point!), I can wait.

I can't exactly dive into a FUBAR yet myself.

Ok then let's wait. Even then, unless Irusia really wants to mod, I don't mind doing it. Only because I don't think I'll take part in the translations, so it'll be fun to mod instead.

If you want to mod, I don't mind. I said I'd be the mod only because I'd thought that nobody else wants to do it.

If I want to start the next game, can I just copy the rules from here?

I don't see why not. I for one would love to see another BTG.

I created a new thread for the next round.

Maybe we should finally start a FUBAR round, too.

I'll start it after the BTG (if you don't mind me doing it).

Or maybe we can do two games simultaneously?

At least I don't mind at all.

I don't think there is a fundamental problem with running two of them at the same time. The only thing I see is that maybe we should try to coordinate the list of translations so that it's unlikely that the same person has two translations to do at the same time (or if it happens, give them some additional time for the second translation if necessary).

I'd love to try a FUBAR game too! (And it's probably more accurate for my languages anyway. )

We could possibly get an interesting mix too, depending on what people are willing to translate to/from. :P

I think I'd like to try FUBAR, too. :)

Perhaps me too, although I'm hesitant to use my not so great languages. But I guess that's the point of FUBAR?

Yes indeed, it is! :D

That is my understanding as well.

So I take it the text is a lot smaller and simpler?

Not necessarily. The text is usually pretty similar to the BTG.
