I sent the Dutch text to Aleco. I found it pretty hard: i don't know if my Italian sucks or if the Italian translation had some mistakes :?.
Good luck to anyone who still has to translate!
I can't wait to see the last translation of the text. I'm sure it will be so funny :mrgreen:.

Yeah, since Covered didn't show up to translate the text into Japanese, we had Hannahanneke translate it into Dutch instead. Hope you don't mind. ;) Next in the list is Bryon.

We waited 3 months in vain for Covered, and have been waiting for Renaçido/Serafín for even longer, so you'll be excused... :P

I think that as the economic recession lengthens on this game will become ever so obsolete.

This is just to let you know that I have the text now since more than a week ago :whistle: and I'm working on it. It's quite weird so I guess everything is going well. :P

Forgot about this, just sent the text to culúrien. BTW I had to translate Balaur's text with Google into English, then I made my translation into Catalan. The text doesn't make sense anymore.

I'm working on recovering the archives for the BTG games, and as this one is incomplete, would I please be able to have the translations up till now? This is of course assuming the game is to be abandoned. Thanks.

Actually, they skipped me over, so it should be:

Balaur: English → Mandarin
loqu: Mandarin → Catalan
culúrien: Catalan → French

(Well, actually, loqu used Google Translate to understand the Mandarin. Should we change it to this instead, then?

Balaur: English → Mandarin
Google Translate: Mandarin → English
loqu: English → Catalan
culúrien: Catalan → French
)

Ok, since we will try to get this finished, I'm taking over the organization of this BTG.

So far we have reconstructed the progress of the chain (added Serafín's latest correction)

Team 1:
Balaur: English → Mandarin
Serafín: Mandarin → Old Spanish
(Google Translate: Mandarin → English)
loqu: English → Catalan
culúrien: Catalan → French
míkl: French → Spanish

→ Remis: French → Italian
voron: Italian → Serbian
Ashucky: Serbian → Slovenian
Ludwig Whitby: Slovenian → Norwegian
邪悪歌 (Jaakuuta): Finnish → Swedish
hashi: Norwegian → English
Ayiaearel: Japanese → English

Team 2:
Vogelvrij: English → German
gothwolf: German → Slovenian
kibo: Slovenian → Swedish
Reinder: Swedish → Frisian
Dminor: Frisian → Italian
Covered: Italian → Japanese
Hannahanneke: Italian → Dutch
Aleco: Dutch → Norwegian
Bryon: Norwegian → French
Muisje: French → Spanish

→ Michael: Spanish → English
Anesthesia: Portuguese → English

Ok, the plan is
- to retrieve the completed translations either from Ayiaearel or from the people who are marked as green (I'll try both)
- to ask the people in orange/red if they still want to participate. They will have 3 days to answer (either by PM or posting here). Whoever doesn't reply will be immediately take off the list and the chain will be rearranged. I'm pretty sure hashi wants to continue, and I can only assume the same goes for the people who are participating in BTG 16 (Michael, Remis, voron and Ashucky), but I'll ask everyone anyway.
- if the chain is hard to reconstruct, I might ask the people who are participating in BTG 16 but who aren't participating here to join in. We'll see yet if this is necessary.

Also I'm abolishing the requirement to translate the text into English in every step since it slows down the game and the goal now is to have the game finished!

Ok, I'll start with the PMs to all the participants.
Goals:
[flag=]es[/flag] ➜ C1 (DELE)
[flag=]de[/flag] ➜ B2 (Goethe-Zertifikat) / C1
[flag=]sv[/flag] ➜ B1/B2

All the PMs sent. I already received some replies

I received a positive answer from:
Remis
hashi
voron
Ashucky

Reconstructed translations (I have those in blue, I need those not in blue)

1st: English → Mandarin (→ GT English) → Catalan → French

2nd: English → German → Slovenian → Swedish → Frisian → Italian → Dutch → Norwegian → French → Spanish
Goals:
[flag=]es[/flag] ➜ C1 (DELE)
[flag=]de[/flag] ➜ B2 (Goethe-Zertifikat) / C1
[flag=]sv[/flag] ➜ B1/B2

Image

I reconstructed the completed translations of the first chain (it wasn't that hard, there were only a few translations), and I'm only missing one translation from the second one (hopefully gothwolf will provide the German text).

In the first chain Remis will be doing culúrien's French translation. We'll wait till Sunday (since I gave 3 days) and for the fully rearranged chain. As for the second chain Michael has the text, but he hasn't responded yet. :? If neither he nor Anesthesia wants to do the translation, we should find someone who will translate Muisje's Spanish translation into English.
Goals:
[flag=]es[/flag] ➜ C1 (DELE)
[flag=]de[/flag] ➜ B2 (Goethe-Zertifikat) / C1
[flag=]sv[/flag] ➜ B1/B2

Ok, we can finally get this moving. I've asked Ludwig to join in since it was impossible to assemble T1.

Team 1:
Remis: French → Italian
→ Saaropean: French → Italian
voron: Italian → Serbian
Ashucky: Serbian → Slovenian
Ludwig Whitby: Slovenian Serbian → Norwegian
hashi: Norwegian → English

Team 2:
Michael: Spanish → English
→ Ashucky: Spanish → English

I'll send the French text to Remis, and Michael already has the Spanish one.
Goals:
[flag=]es[/flag] ➜ C1 (DELE)
[flag=]de[/flag] ➜ B2 (Goethe-Zertifikat) / C1
[flag=]sv[/flag] ➜ B1/B2
