Done the forward text, which is officially ruined.

I should get round to the backward one tomorrow. I didn't expect them both at once

EDIT:
I haven't done it yet, but I'll do it either tonight or tomorrow.

Sorry everyone but I probably won't be able to do it today either, I'm not feeling that great and am finding it difficult to concentrate, we'll see though I might be able to manage!

Backward text done! I had considerably less problems with that one (mainly due to the fact I was translating from English)

The holy Cat,
A wolf and a snake, ate sickly a flying mouse, that loves comments and eats a porcupine for lunch.
It was know that the ancient egyptians know house to eat mice. that is why they beign to make cats. :| Of course they they kill the micely snake.
A large number of egyptians believe also that cats where pretty and yellow, they worshipped cats in temples. the dark of the geim seams still equal to the eye of the sun and of the moon.

You're not supposed to post it here, send it to Renaçido
But you're the last of the chain so it's not so bad I guess.

I'm done with the backwards text even though it isn't mentioned on the first post.

Why is it always with Fubars that this happens? Did the fourth one ever get finished, by the way?
Maybe Renaçido could post the forwards chain already. It's not the same text anyway (either that, or something really weird happened to it along the way.. :para: )

URGHH, the reason that I haven't been dealing with this is that culúrien is well past her number of days and I've been a little too lazy to reorganize the chain. :P

I'll go poke culúrien and then see...

Muisje: johnH didn't send anything yet again for the third time, so you've become the final one in the chain now. TEAM A IS DONE!

Alright, more than enough days have passed by now, I believe. Bizet simply did not return, and Szarooki and Momonga are not participating anymore (they didn't say so, though they read the message I sent them days ago and didn't receive I reply). So we have Saaropean and Jaakuuta.

@loqu: you can translate your text into various languages for Saaropean. Ideally Portuguese or Italian (since neither of you seems to be good in them, according to what you posted), though you could also do Catalan, English, Spanish or German.

Saaropean then will take the text and translate it into Russian, then Jaakuuta will do the final translation into English.

This is getting into the surreal.

I started to organized the final post, and I just noticed I don't have seven translations, since I apparently deleted the PMs where participants gave them to me.

What's worse, I don't seem to have the original text of the Forward chain anywhere. (The text I translated to Mandarin at the beginning.) Oh God.

(UPDATE: now I'm only missing five translations.)

Here's the texts I'm missing:

Forward Text
Serafín English → Chinese
Momonga Chinese → Japanese
Jaakuuta Japanese → Russian
Saaropean Russian → Swedish
Szarooki Swedish → German
Bizet German → Portuguese
loqu Portuguese → Catalan
culúrien Catalan → Spanish
Satsuma Spanish → Korean
míkl Korean → French

Bryon French → Finnish
Muisje Finnish → English

Backwards text
Muisje English → French
Bryon French → English
míkl English → French

Satsuma French → Spanish
Serafín Spanish → Latin
loqu Latin → Portuguese/Italian
Saaropean Portuguese/Italian → Russian
Jaakuuta Russian → English

If you guys have any of these, please send them to me. (Though obviously nobody has the original Forwards text...)

I don't know if the text was already fucked up or I just couldn't make any sense out of the Latin translation, but I'm sending the text to Saaropean now.

Loqu is exaggerating. It's not that bad. I was able to extract some kind of meaning out of this text, and to get an idea as to its origin. ;)

I've sent my Russian translation of Loqu's Portuguese text to Якута/邪悪歌/Jaakuuta.

He's not around all that often, so hopefully he picks it up pretty quick. Interesting that you cyrillicise his name with Я when the transliteration of the Japanese (<ja>) is pronounced /dʑa/.

Because I thought Jaakuuta was the Finnish original and 邪悪歌 a weird (wrong) way of transliterating. So I ignored the vowel lengths while transliterating into Cyrillic...
I must admit I don't know anything about this person. :(
