How come? I thought the latin word aspirare had to with inhaling (i.e. introducing it through the nose), while sucking has to do with mouth. :?

The word usisivač comes from the verb usisati (u = in, sisati = to suck) which means 'to vacuum clean' and it also has an imperfective counterpart 'usisavati'. :) Incidently the verb sisati is only imperfective and can give perfective forms by adding prefixes...(which slighly changes the meaning) :)
