For starters, it's upside down.
I can read the second and third characters, but I'm having trouble with the first.
The last character is 画, which I often see in artist's signatures.
The middle character is 田, which means "field" and is a very common element in Japanese surnames. The first element resembles 妻 (and 妻田 Tsumata is an established surname) except that it's missing two strokes and I can't come up with another character that incorporates these elements.
