Interested to see if there are some curious equivalents in different languages.

(en ) to sleep like a log/to sleep like the dead

(sk ) spať ako drevo/spať ako zarezaný (to sleep like wood/to sleep like your throat was cut)

In English we can also say "sleep the sleep of the just".

(en ) to sleep like a baby/to sleep like a log/to sleep like the dead/to sleep the sleep of the just
(de) schlafen wie ein Murmeltier/Stein (to sleep like a marmot/stone)

(cy) cysgu fel twrch/clawdd/hwch/mochyn/cordyn/hoelen/carreg/gwadd (to sleep like a boar/wall/sow/pig/rope/nail/rock/mole)
(ga) bheith ina chnap codlata (to be in his heap of sleep)/codladh an róin a dhéanadh (to do the sleep of the seal)

(ca) dormir com un soc/tronc (to sleep like a stump/trunk)
(fr-frc) dormir comme un(e) bûche/caille-molle/caïman/congo (to sleep like a log/softshell turtle/gator/cottonmouth)
