Mayan languages not only have words for "day before yesterday" and "day after tomorrow" but also words for up to ten or more days in each direction, based on the number words with suffixes that specifically mean "days back" or "days ahead". Some Mayan languages have retained all of these and in other Mayan languages only portions of the set are still used today. For example:
