Or, to translate it closer to the point...

A fairly good attempt.

The second "nie" is in the wrong place, it should be at the end of the sentence. Placing it where it is now, changes the meaning of the sentence. What this sentence means, is that "someone who finds it important, is confusing me/don't confuse me by telling me about someone who finds it important/who cares".

Translating the last part of the sentence as "iemand wat dit belangrik vind", is fine if a fairly liberal translation is all you want. But it's more formal, and not idiomatic, which is important in Afrikaans... :wink:
