For one thing, I don't know how's the actual "ancient Greek" pronunciation :blush:, for another, modern pronunciation (and it's not always wrong to use it, I may say) is easier for me* :wink:

Eh, well.. It's better to use the actual reconstructed pronunciation. :yep: And since the alfabet was adapted especially for this language, it's not that difficult:

ε [e]
ι [i]
ο [o]
υ [y]
ω [ɔː]
η [ɛː]

ει [eː]
ου [o:]

β [b]
γ [g]
δ [d]
ζ [sd]
θ [tʰ]
λ [l]
φ [pʰ]
χ [kʰ]
῾ [h]

And except for the fact that the (other) diphthongs are indeed a combination of the vowels it contains in the orthography, the rest is pretty much the same as modern Greek, I believe. Not that hard to remember, is it? :oops:
